The highly-respected award winning actor found himself in the same club as 20-year-old Justin at the Cannes film festival, but he didn’t want anything to do with the famous pop singer.
“Justin was strutting his stuff all over the club, walking around shirtless and scoping out chicks,” a source who was there told Star magazine. “But when he heard Leo was there, he had his bodyguard muscle a path to where Leo was sitting.”
“Justin was nodding and smiling in Leo’s direction, but Leo just shook his head no and waved him off. He thinks Justin’s a little twit. Leo doesn’t want or need photo ops with publicity-hungry, manufactured pop stars,” the source continues.
However, there might be something else going on with the two celebrities. Namely, DiCaprio might still be bitter because the singer outbid him on a Bulgari necklace at the annual “amfAR Cinema Against AIDS” event, held during the Cannes Film Festival a few weeks ago.
DiCaprio made his final offer of €350,000 (roughly $476,000), but he was outbid by Bieber, who said he wanted the necklace as a present for his mother, and came in with the winning €400,000 ($545,000) offer.
We bet DiCaprio just couldn’t believe his eyes.
