3. Michael Jordan’s divorce from Juanita Jordan – $168 million

Michael and Juanita Jordan met in Chicago during Michael’s second season with the Bulls, and were married in 1989 in Las Vegas.

After 17 years together and three children, the couple decided it was time to call it quits after multiple attempts at reconciliation, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

As there was no prenup, Juanita walked away with a sizable portion of their $400 million estate, most of which Michael has earned back by now.

One failed marriage didn’t stop the NBA star from walking down the isle again in 2013, this time with his model girlfriend Yvette Prieto, with whom Jordan has twins.
