Janet Jackson was born into a Jehovah’s Witnesses family, but accepted Islam shortly after marrying her third husband Wissam Al Mana in 2012. Al Mana is a billionaire businessman from Qatar who owns Saks Fifth Avenue stores in the Middle East.

As Janet is a devoted wife living in Doha, Qatar, she also converted to Islam and is a practicing Muslim along with her husband, celebrating Ramadan with the Al Mana family and upholding their values.

Furthermore, Miss Jackson is not the only member of the Jackson family to embrace Islam. Jermaine Jackson is also Muslim, having converted after a 1989 tour in the Middle East.
