The star of “Liar, Liar” and “Dumb And Dumber” used to struggle in his teens, mostly because his family “went from lower middle class to poor” once his father lost his job as a musician.
Jim was forced to work at the age of 15, and he got his first job as a janitor in a tire factory.
After that, Carrey even worked as a bouncer for a local night club. But as we know, his career only went upwards, as he received an honorary doctorate from the Maharishi University of Management in Iowa for his achievements as a comedian, artist, author, and philanthropist in 2014.
