12. Clay Aiken
Ever since he first appeared on the “American Idol” show in 2003, rumors about Clay Aiken being gay have been circling the media big time.
And while he persistently avoided talking about, we all kind of knew what was going on there.
Although he wouldn’t admit it, several years of speculations about Aiken’s sexuality made everyone used to the idea of the singer being gay.
Finally, Clay Aiken came out of the closet in 2008, when he sat down for an interview with the People magazine and admitted that he prefers men.
It’s nice that he came out, but we were sort of expecting it.
