12. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Secret Affair
Born in a tiny village in Austria to a former Nazi footsoldier, Schwarzenegger first began weightlifting when he was 14.
He skipped military survive to continue his weight training, eventually making a name for himself as a bodybuilder before making the move to America.
The rest is history. Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of the most successful box office stars of all time, helming the classic “Terminator” films as well as appearing in a deluge of successful action flicks.
He served two terms as governor of California, becoming a major force in American politics before settling back into a comfortable life as a film star.
It wasn’t always an easy journey, however. Shortly after his second gubernatorial term ended, Schwarzenegger separated from his wife of 25 years, journalist and Kennedy family scion Maria Shriver. It was revealed the divorce was due in large part to revelations regarding sexual misconduct on Arnold’s part.

He’d been sleeping with a housekeeper under their employ, and the two had sired a child together out of wedlock. Deeply regretful of the incident, Schwarzenegger struggled to keep his family together in the years hence, trying to do right by all involved. Love him or hate him, the Governator does his best to own up to past mistakes.
