9. Gary Busey

Motorcycles aren’t for everyone, you know. Actor Gary Busey, who is probably most famous for his portrayal of the legendary rocker Buddy Holly, was severely injured when he crashed his motorcycle into a guard rail.

The incident, which occured outside Culver City, California in 1988 had a huge impact to the rest of Busey’s life.

Because he was not wearing a helmet (which is probably the stupidest thing you can do while riding a motorcycle), Busey suffered a fractured skull.

Sure, he has recovered by time sufficiently to resume acting, but not without consequences.

The accident left the actor with permanent damage to his brain, causing him to say things impulsively and act inappropriately.
