4. Shia LaBeouf

The troublemaking actor Shia LaBeouf had a life scare of his own back in 2008, when he and another driver were injured in a car accident in Hollywood.

LaBeouf suffered severe injuries to his left hand, which was crushed when his Ford F-150 rolled over, but thanks to the talent and hard work of surgeons his hand was rebuilt by using screws, plates and pieces of bone shaved from his hip.

LaBeouf showed the world his own strength and talent when he continued to film the Transformers movie while recovering, and the director Michael Bay showed off his own talent with some creative shooting.

LaBeouf recovered about 80% use of the hand.
