RNB legend Stevie Wonder always was a trooper, and he proved that more than ever way back in 1973 when a collision with a truck nearly killed him.

Wonder’s cousin was driving him to a benefit performance at a radio station in Durham, North Carolina when a log fell off the back of the farm truck in front of them.

The log smashed through the window and struck Wonder in the head, resulting with the singer being in a coma and suffering from other injuries.

Wonder truly is a wonder, as he returned to the stage the following spring, where he stayed.
