Freeman lost the use of his left hand due to injuries sustained after an accident that happened near Ruleville, Mississippi. The legendary actor’s car went off the road and flipped over several times.

Freeman can often be seen wearing a compression glove to prevent the blood from pooling in his left hand ever since then.

We are all witnesses that the 77-year-old actor has not let the accident affect his career (that is lasting over 40 years now) in any way. No wonder he always plays God.
