5. Tom Jones

Jonathan Berkery, 24, has been trying for years to get Tom Jones to come around and finally accept him as his son, but so far he’s had no luck.

Tom Jones had a 3-day fling with Berkery’s mother in 1987 when Tom was 47 and married to Melinda Trenchard.

Jones never officially acknowledged Berkery as his son despite conclusive DNA test results and a monthly settlement in child support worth £1,700 that went to Berkery’s mother, former model Katherine Berkery.

Jonathan recently shared that he went though a rough patch during which he was a “gun-carrying drug dealer” because his father abandoned him, including sleeping on park benches, in homeless shelters and in his car. Berkery explained his past behaviour by saying he was an “angry kid crying out for a father”.
