Perhaps teenage girls have their breath taken away by Green Day’s front man, but the truth is Billy Joe Armstrong isn’t reserved for just one gender.

Billy Joe spoke multiple times about his sexuality and the issues surrounding it, but it was the 1995 interview with The Advocate that actually cemented the singer’s sexual preference.

During the interview, Armstrong said: “I think I’ve always been bisexual. I mean, it’s something that I’ve always been interested in.” A year later, he was arrested in Wisconsin for indecent exposure, so we guess Billy Joe got a little bit too interested right there.
