Robin Williams’ widow Susan Williams and three adult children from previous marriages, Zachary, Zelda and Cody, have settled their feud over the late actor’s estate following months of bickering.
Susan Williams will remain in the San Francisco area home she shared with the late actor and a trust has been created to pay for maintaining the home.
Susan will also receive wedding gifts she and Robin got, as well as a bike they bought on their honeymoon and a watch he often wore.
Both sides are satisfied with the settlement. Meredith Bushnell, attorney for the children, said: “I think they’re just very happy to have this behind them.”
The dispute arose when Susan filed a court petition to have items she shared with Williams excluded from the items the actor left to his children in his will. The children were heartbroken, saying, accusing Susan of “adding insult to a terrible injury” by trying to change their father’s will and deprive them of items he intended for them.
The parties reached a settlement on September 25 out of court, as encouraged by the judge.
