Even though the actor lost his mother Elsie just over a week ago to poor health, The Iron Man really lived up to his role and proved he’s indeed made of iron since he gathered the strength to get back to work to promote his new film “The Judge”.

The 49-year-old actor stoically put on a brave face while attending the Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday night, as he stepped out on front of the cameras and numerous fans.

Focusing On The Good Times Ahead

Robert was accompanied by his pregnant wife Susan, who had a visible baby bump, and the couple really showed they were in this together as they didn’t try to hide the affection they have for one another.

It was clear they were focusing on the bright future ahead of the happy couple, instead on the gruesome present.

The Iron Man star showered his wife-of-nine years with kisses, cuddles and tenderness, and it is no secret the two are pretty excited about the arrival of their second child, due next month.

Love Changes People

Robert and Susan have both recently opened up about their relationship and what makes them as strong a couple as they are today.

“She is the font of all good things,” Robert admitted when talking about coping with his addictions, referring to their time together as his ‘Great Transition’.

Susan, on the other hand, admitted she wasn’t even thinking about settling down and starting a family until she met Robert.

“I didn’t care about having a family or making a home. I didn’t think about kids. It’s not that I didn’t want those things, I just didn’t think about them. And then I had someone who came in as a tornado, this creative, beautiful ball of insane energy and passion. And it completely opened me up.”
