Actress, model and overall style icon Milla Jovovich gave birth to a bouncing baby girl! The rejoiced celeb shared the first photo of her adorable newborn daughter Dashiel Edan via Instagram, to spread the news of joy with all of her fans.

The Ukranian-native actress and model gave birth to Dashiel Edan earlier the same day, but it seems that she couldn’t rest for one more minute until she shared her newborn’s cute face.

Dashiel is Milla’s second daughter with director husband Paul Anderson, since the couple already has a seven-year-old daughter, Ever.

Jovovich captioned the photo with words of joy and happiness: “We are so proud to announce the birth of our second daughter Ms. Dashiel Edan Jovovich-Anderson today!!! She is 7lbs. 10 oz. and 20 inches long! We love you Dash!”

39-year-old Jovovich met 50-year-old Anderson way back in 2002 when he directed her in the movie Resident Evil. Just as the pair was getting ready to film the last part of the movie franchise last year, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, they discovered that they were going to become proud parents yet again.

They announced the news in August, when Jovovich explained that the movie would have to be put on hold: “We want to make the best movie possible and that would be extremely difficult, to say the least, in my present condition. I would like to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has been working so hard on the movie in South Africa already and we are so looking forward to working with you all next summer, and when we arrive, it will hopefully be with the newest member of our little family!”

If they stick to their plans, we could be expecting filming of the last Resident Evil movie in a couple of months.
