The young superstar is often compared to her older colleague Angelina Jolie, and she seems to resent that. But striking looks is not the only thing that links the two beauties. Namely, they both admitted they don’t have many female friends and they haven’t really been ‘queen bees’ over the years.
“I consider myself a ‘girl’s girl’ in that I’m not competitive, jealous, or catty,” Megan, 28, said in her interview for the “Cosmopolitan”.
“But I don’t have a ton of female friends—I have one. Her name is Mindy and she’s a facialist. I don’t have many guy friends, either. I’ve never been a social butterfly. I don’t feel lonely or isolated. I have one really great friend and that’s all I need,” said the actress.
But that the comparisons are not without basis, we can see from the Jolie’s interview back in January 2012.
“I have a few girlfriends. I just…I stay at home a lot. I don’t do a lot with them, and I’m very homebound.” The Oscar winner, 39, added, “I talk to my family. I talk to Brad… But I don’t know, I don’t have a lot of friends I talk to.”
Fox has two sons with Brian Austin Green and in a recent interview she also revealed how she feels about being a hot mom and her views on female empowerment.
“When I’m working, I refuse to flirt. If someone tries, it becomes an endless roast. I’ll say, ‘Nice beard, buddy’ or ‘You look fancy!’ I know he’s spent an hour doing that specific thing to his hair, and the minute I point it out, his game is shattered,” says Megan. “I like to have men off their guard. Then you are in charge. You don’t ever have to feel like men have power over you.”
“There’s a power that comes with having a child. You’ve done something incredible that no man could ever do or understand. It is hard to resist letting yourself fall apart physically, because when you’re taking care of a child with little or no help, there isn’t time to take care of you,” said Megan who, you’ll agree, doesn’t really look like she has no time to take care of her looks.
