Jennifer Lawrence

“The Hunger Games” actress has recently opened up about the iCloud hacking scandal explaining why she isn’t to blame for anything that happened with this popular data preserving platform, and that the leakage of her nude photos simply wasn’t her choice.

It Doesn’t Come With The Territory

“Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory.

It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting.

I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world,” Jennifer stated.

The Internet world has recently been flooded with dozens of nude female celebrity photos when their iCloud accounts were hacked into, exposing their private lives to the hungry eyes of the public.

Finding Her Own Peace

In an interview for Vanity Fair, Jennifer also admitted she considered writing an apology letter at the time but couldn’t because she got very emotional every single time she tried to do it.

“I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. Time does heal, you know,” Jennifer added.

“I’m not crying about it anymore. I can’t be angry anymore. I can’t have my happiness rest on these people being caught, because they might not be. I need to just find my own peace.”
