Actor Jason Mewes and his producer wife Jordan Monsanto have welcomed their first child together!
Mewes spread the words (and images) of joy on his social media accounts. The famed actor shared a picture (taken by none other than “uncle” Kevin Smith) of him and Monsato and their daughter, who is snuggled in between her parents, looking adorable all bundled up in a blanket and matching hat.
Smith isn’t just the designated photographer when the occasion calls; he also hosted the couple’s baby shower in March.
Around the same time, 40-year-old Mewes posted a photo of Monsanto showing off her baby bump with the caption: “So beautiful! So excited! Just a couple of weeks away!” Luckily, the proud new dad didn’t have to wait for long.
Mewes and Smith are inseparable on screen as they are in real life. The charismatic duo has collaborated on several cult classics over the years, including the Clerks franchise, Chasing Amy, Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back, and Zack And Miri Make A Porno.
The longtime partners in crime and owners of one of the rarest real celebrity friendships are currently in pre-production for Clerks II. They also recently revealed that fans of the Mallrats can expect an overdue sequel.
