Harrison Ford has recently been a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres show and the 73-year-old adventurous actor has yet again opened up on the dangerous plane crash he experienced earlier this year.

Ford was flying his plane above the outskirts of LA when his aircraft malfunctioned and he crashed. The actor ended up being seriously injured, but it appears his fast recovery was partly due to the help of his lovely and caring wife, Calista Flockhart.

“There were a dislocated right ankle and a shattered pelvis and a broken back and a serious bump on the head with major lacerations,” Ford revealed speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres show.

More than Supportive

Calista must have done some serious magic since Harrison was, despite all the aforementioned injuries, flying again less than three months after the accident.

When asked if she approved of this decision of his, Ford replied: “She’s fine, she’s fine with it actually. She’s very supportive,” Harrison said. “She knows how much it means to me and she’s ok. I fly her all the time.”

Being a passionate pilot, the actor was flying his WWII aircraft when its engine broke down mere moments after he took off from Santa Monica Airport. However, Ford is also a skilled pilot, so he managed to steer the plane away from the local houses and crashed in a nearby golf course.

Never enough adventure for the true Indiana Jones.
