After meeting on the set of “The Place Beyond The Pines” in 2011, Eva and Ryan fell deeply in love and have been together ever since. Eva is thought to be seven months pregnant meaning that the couple will become first-time parents at the end of the summer.
Back in February, Eva denied that she was pregnant following an alleged incident at the Los Angeles International Airport.
When she arrived at the Transportation Security Administration point for a routine pre-flight security check, she told the officers she would not be able to pass through the body scanner ‘because she’s pregnant’, which she later tried to deny.
Later she laughed at and denied the baby talk in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
“It’s so ridiculous. It all started because I didn’t want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there’s a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out.”
But it seems she just can’t keep denying it forever. While we are awaiting comments from both stars’ reps, “Us Weekly” is officially reporting that the two are expecting a baby together. According to the magazine, an insider confirmed the news after rumors surfaced Wednesday that the actress is seven months pregnant.
A source said that even though Ryan is fully committed to the relationship, he doesn’t share his girlfriend’s desire to settle down and get married yet. “Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he’d be there no matter what. This is it for him. He doesn’t think they need to marry just because they are having a baby but Eva believes it’s important to have their lives fully intertwined.”
If the rumors are true, this will be the first child for both Mendes, 40, and Gosling, 33. Until the news is officially confirmed from their reps, we can only play the waiting game.
