Famed actress and everyone’s favorite Columbian lady, Sofia Vergara, has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Venus Concept.

The actress is taking legal actions against the noted beauty company for using her name and likeness in their ads, without her permission.

The 43-year-old, who recently married, was first linked to the company prior to 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards, when she used the Venus Legacy machine to get ready for the red carpet.

She posted a WhoSay photo during the treatment.

Since then, Venus Concept has been using blown-up photos of Vergara’s face (from the picture she posted on WhoSay), along with her name, to promote their products at exhibition booths, trade shows, and on the internet.

A source close to the famous comedy actress has stated that “Sofia personally prides herself on believing in what she sells and she talks about it genuinely.” “For someone to just slap her face and image on something that she doesn’t even like, she just feels like she’s cheating her fans,” the insider concluded.

The Modern Family actress has been battling with the beauty company for more than a year.
