5. T.I.

Clifford Harris, better known as T.I., is one of those rappers that vanished from the spotlight as quickly as he entered it.

After releasing his debut album in 2001, T.I.’s career started to flourish. He dished out record after record and was even presented with a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo, but in the end, it all went down in flames.

He was arrested in 2007 just hours before the BET Hip Hop Awards on charges of weapons possession. T.I. was sentenced to an indeterminate prison term, but had also served a year of house prison and community service.
