Maybe he was once a part of the boy band New Edition, but Bobby Brown is much better known for being Whitney Houston’s husband – or for being a violent troublemaker.

Most of Brown’s popularity came during his marriage with the late singer.

It was in this period that the famous couple got into most trouble, which usually involved assault and battery and drug abuse.

Bobby Brown got arrested in 2003 for misdemeanor battery. Allegedly, he got into a fight with Houston, and as the situation escalated, he hit her. But before the violent spree even began, Brown got caught multiple times for driving without a license, speeding, and possession of marijuana.
