Brian Austin Green confirms the car accident he and his wife Megan Fox were involved in on Thursday in Los Angeles “could have ended horribly”.

The drunk driver who was going 50 miles an hour hit the actors’ Range Rover head-on.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed Brian Austin Green, 41, and Megan Fox, 28, were unharmed.

“I’m okay. My wife is okay. We walked away,” the actor told PEOPLE magazine at Generosity.org’s Night of Generosity gala in Los Angeles.

The drunk driver who caused the accident hit the airbag and got out of the car unscratched. As was later confirmed by the LAPD, he was arrested for driving under the influence. Although no one was injured, Green explained that “the inertia of [the collision] is life changing. That’s life changing for us.”

Luckily, the couple’s sons Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 9 months, were not in the car.
