Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are house hunting in London, according to a source, as Jolie wants to slowly immerse herself in the politics of the European Union. Also, they’ve already spotted a house they and their kids like.
However, if you thought that these two would just spend a bunch of cash like nobody’s business, you’ve been pretty wrong. The couple doesn’t want to throw down a huge amount of cash, and the home they’ve been looking at is estimated at a whopping $39 million!
As that investment is no cheap thrill, both Pitt and Jolie are interested in checking out other residencies before emptying their pockets. They’re also not in a hurry, as Jolie isn’t planning on making a career change. According to the source, she’s “doesn’t want to lose her directing momentum.”
Before this home-buying trip, the last time the couple w sin London was when Jolie attended a luncheon as part of her work on UK foreign policy and her campaign to end sexual violence in war crimes, in June. During that trip, Pitt and Jolie had tea with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and they “discussed their shared interests in combating illegal wildlife trade.” Which couple was more excited about the tea and chit-chat will probably remain a mystery.
