According to Bobby Brown and his sister Tina, the young celeb has come off her life support machine and her condition is luckily starting to improve.
The 46-year-old performer and Bobbi’s father, Bobby Brown, hinted that his beloved daughter was making her first steps toward recovery on April 18th.
Brown made an announcement to the crowd at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Dallas, while he was on stage at a Frankie Beverly concert: “I can say today Bobbi is awake. She’s watching me.”
The speech was posted to Instagram later that night. His sister, Tina Brown, also confirmed her brother’s announcement on April 19th and thanked the fans for their support during the troubled time the family found themselves: “So many messages, sorry can’t answer them all right now but I will get to them later. Just allow me this time with my family, yes, she woke up and is no longer on life support! God is good! Thanks for your prayers, still a process, but she is going to be ok.”
There have not been any official statements yet coming from the Brown family regarding Bobbi’s changed health condition.
The 22-year-old has been in a coma since she was discovered unresponsive by her boyfriend on January 31st. She was then taken to a hospital, where her health hadn’t changed until now. She was found unconscious in a bathtub, terrifyingly much like her mother, legendary vocalist, Whitney Houston.
