After their official separation back in March, Gwyneth and Chris Martin have been seen together on several occasions and they looked quite happy. So happy in fact, that we started speculating if they were indeed separated, or they were just ‘playing cold’. Especially when several photos emerged showing Gwyneth still wearing the ring.

Now, however, it is quite clear that Gwyneth is officially back on the market.

Namely, the 41-year-old was spotted on a date with a ‘hot young guy’, according to a report from The New York Post.

The actress was hanging out and feeling pretty cosy around a handsome mystery man at New York restaurant “Narcissa” on Tuesday evening.

‘He had curly, shaggy hair and looked like he was in his 30s. I think they may have been holding hands,’ a witness said.

The news comes only one week after the former couple, Gwyneth and Chris, again sparked the hopes of reconciliation, after being seen dining together with their children Apple, 10, and Moses, 8, several times in the Hampton.

“They were operating like a couple, and with the kids looked like a happy family,” a witness told Page Six.

Last month, the “People” magazine also wrote about the possibility of the couple re-animating their love. “They haven’t made any concrete decision to get back together yet, but clearly it’s a possibility,” a close friend of the couple stated for the magazine.

“At this point, some of the pressure was just taken off them. Pressure they put on themselves to “make it work,” the friend continued. “They’ve loving time together with and without the kids. She didn’t want to end the marriage. He’s been a great father, and that has helped keep the flame alive. They love each other, and if the romance comes back, they’ll go with it if it feels right.”

It appears that Gwyneth simply got tired of waiting.
