Two out of 11 biological and adopted children of late B.B. King, Karen Williams and Patty King, claim their father was poisoned by the close members of his staff. The Las Vegas Police Department is investigating their allegations.

B.B. King passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 14 at the age of 89, but his daughters believe King’s business manager, LaVerne Toney, and his personal assistant, Myron Johnson, actually poisoned him.

“I witnessed foreign substances and/or medication that were administered locked and hidden by Ms. Toney, leading me to believe she was administering medications or poisons into Mr. King’s body due to the non-transparency of her administration of said foreign objects, poisons, or medications,” the lawyers for Williams and King state.

LaVerne Toney is in charge of handling King’s estate and has been accused of misusing his funds in the past.

An autopsy has been conducted and the results are expected to bring answers in the next eight weeks.
