13. Quentin Tarantino

Quentin Tarantino is an atypical Hollywood brainiac on our list as he didn’t like school, so he never pursued a traditional higher education.

Tarantino did like history class, though, and was quoted for saying it was because “history class was kind of like the movies”.

Despite having an IQ of 160, which is reportedly the same as the famous physicist Stephen Hawking, Tarantino didn’t even graduate high school, let alone university.

That never stopped the genius director from achieving world-wide success doing what he loved, producing some of the most critically acclaimed films and winning Academy Award nominations and awards for his work in the film industry.
