The latest proof of that comes from Bill Cosby, who will most definitely stand criminal trial for charges of aggravated indecent assault. One long year of allegation after allegation from dozens of women won’t do anyone good, but Cosby still had hope.
His lawyers pleaded to dismiss charges, however, a Montgomery County Judge has said the ultimate ‘no’, which means the prosecution of the actor and the criminal case against him will continue.
Once the plea got denied, the case was able to move to a preliminary hearing which gave the prosecutors an opportunity to prove Cosby actually assaulted one of the accusers in 2004. Not only that, but good, ol’ Bill also admitted that he used Quaaludes and Benadryl to have sex with young women in the past.
The Golden Globe winner brushed off many accusations in the recent months, but this time he’s facing criminal charges. That being said, things are about to get pretty damn hairy for Bill Cosby and we’ll be keeping an eye out as the trial progresses.
