Jessica Simpson recently talked on CNBC’s Closing Bell and she referred to her first marriage as he “biggest money mistake”.

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey divorced about 10 years ago and it appears that the pop star still cringes when she reminisces of her relationship with Nick.

Namely, the first thing to pop into her head when she was asked about the biggest money related mistake in her life, was her first marriage.

“The biggest money mistakes? I don’t know. For some reason I thought of my first marriage,” Jessica joked while talking on CNBC.

“That’s actually a common answer, believe it or not,” host Kelly Evans replied.

Always Ready for Another Billion

Jessica was celebrating the 10th anniversary of her famous fashion clothing line, which is so successful that it actually rakes in a $ 1 billion in sales each year.

When the star was asked where she sees herself in the next five years, Jessica replied: “I always say I’m ready for another billion! My business manager (and I) have been together for 16 years now. He’s one of the first people that I met coming into New York City, and I trust him with everything. We’ve made really great investments, we haven’t really made any mistakes.”

Where was her business manager when she tied the knot with Nick, we wonder…
