There have been many rumors and a lot of speculation on the nature of their relationship, but now Lewis Hamilton has finally decided to clear the light and said that Rihanna is just a good friend of his.

The rumors started after the pair has been spotted together in Barbados, however, the Formula1 champion has denied the whole story with the latest E! News interview. “You know, I’ve known Ri for a long time. We’ve been friends for a while. We get to hang out every now and again… otherwise, we’re just good friends,” Hamilton stated for the magazine.

Nothing Serious?

The almost-power-couple was first linked back in August when they were seen partying together at the annual Crop Over Festival in Barbados.

At that time, a source revealed for E! News that Hamilton is quite interested in Ri, the singer wasn’t exactly in a rush to start anything serious.

“Rihanna also spent time with her friends and family but Lewis was the only romantic interest on her mind,” the insider stated.

“She is not at any point in her life now ready to settle just for anyone, but she is enjoying the time she has with her friends and also focusing on work.”

However, the two has been spotted yet again, dining together in a New York restaurant and pretty much fueling the rumors again.
