Lindsay Lohan can finally put her criminal past behind her. After being convicted three times since 2007, for DUI and drug possession, theft of a necklace and reckless driving, the troubled actress can finally start over.

Lohan has been on probation for the last eight years but Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Young reviewed her case yesterday and decided the actress fulfilled her duty regarding community service, occasional jail time and house arrest.

In addition to being jailed five times, Lohan was also admitted to rehab for violating the terms of her parole on various occasions. Lindsay had over 50 court hearings and appeared in court in person 20 times, mostly in the presence of a bunch of photographers and overzealous fans.

Just as her legal troubles are over, hopefully Lohan can put her alcohol addiction to rest and finally go back to recreating a once promising career.

“Clean slate,” Lohan tweeted after the last hearing. “Fresh start.”
