And to think we’ve heard it all! This rather odd story may be the weirdest thing so far this year, but hey, it’s only April.
Hollywood A-lister and That 70’s Show alum Mila Kunis is going to court over a chicken. Yes, a chicken. The actress is being sued by a Ukrainian singer, Kristina Karo, who claims that the acclaimed actress “stole her pet hen” when they were kids. The unusual singer alleges that she was Kunis’ classmate before she moved to the U.S. from Ukraine in 1991, and that they were “inseparable.”
Allegedly, Kunis would come over to Karo’s chicken farm in north-west Ukraine and play with the hen, Doggie.
When Doggie disappeared, Kunis confessed to the crime and told her “Kristina, you can have any other chicken as a pet, you have a whole chicken farm.”
The whole thing forced Karo to see a therapist. After moving to LA, the singer realized that she’s in close proximity to Kunis, and that “brought back all the bad memories.”
Karo is in need of therapy again, and she wants Kunis to cover the bills and pay her for emotional distress. Doggie’s disappearance also prevented Karo from “pursuing the American dream” earlier. For her trauma, Karo is suing Kunis for $5,000.
Although all of this sounds very plausible (we guess), there’s a slight problem with the whole story. Karo claims that she was raised in the small village of Berezhnytsia’, which is a three hour drive and more than 100miles away from Chernivtsi, where Mila Kunis lived before moving to America.
Kunis, who lives in Hollywood with husband Ashton Kutcher and their daughter Wyatt, hasn’t made any comments.
