The newlyweds George Clooney and Amal Alamudin install a panic room in their Berkshire, England home, reports say.

Renovations are underway at the couple’s high-security mansion, which will be “fireproof, bombproof and attack-resistant”.

The couple wed in September 2014 in a lavish, weekend-long ceremony in Venice, Italy and spent their honeymoon in the 17th- century British manor house.

As most other high-profile couples don’t live under such tight security measures, questions were raised as to why Amal and George would go to the extremes to protect their privacy.

According to a source, the couple opted for such a drastic move not because of Clooney’s potential trespassing fans, but because of Mrs. Clooney’s job as a human-rights lawyer.

“Amal has high-profile clients in controversial cases. She needs to be secure,” the same source revealed.

The Clooney residence is remotely located, set back far away from the road, and supposedly extravagant and super-stylish.
