Even though the former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell, hasn’t really been treated kindly so far when it comes to true love, it appears the singer hasn’t given up on love just yet.

Geri hopes the third time will be the charm as her brand new fiancée, Formula One driver, Christian Horner has asked her to tie the knot and the British star said yes.

The future husband and wife have (as tradition implies) announced the exciting news via the British newspaper The Times on Tuesday.

Halliwell also revealed the news via her Twitter account.

“Christian and I are delighted to announce that we are engaged! We’re both very happy,” Geri wrote.

History

The couple actually goes way back. Geri and Christian met five years ago, however, the future spouses decided to make their relationship public only last March.

This August, the lovebirds didn’t hold anything back while they showed off their romance and redefined the phrase Public Display of Affection during their hot summer holiday in France.

They both have daughters from their previous marriages. Geri’s daughter, Bluebell, is eight years old, while Christian’s daughter, Olivia, is only 1.

Do we hear wedding bells? Fingers crossed.
