Tommy is an American actor and film director. He has received four Academy Award nominations, winning one as Best Supporting Actor for his performance as U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard in the 1993 thriller film “The Fugitive.”

You might also remember him from “The Men In Black” franchise in which he played the tough Agent K who thrives on destroying evil aliens. Well, guess what? Tommy Lee Jones is actually a Harvard man.

Jones was born on September 15, 1946 in San Saba, Texas and graduated from the St. Mark’s School of Texas, which he attended on scholarship. He remained closely connected to his school and now he serves on the board of directors.

He is a good friend of Al Gore and he even presented the nominating speech for his college roommate, as the Democratic Party’s nominee for President of the United States At the 2000 Democratic National Convention.
