15. Cynthia Nixon
Two years later they became an official couple and went out with the news publically.
The two got engaged at a 2009 rally to support New York gay marriage. They had to wait a bit longer, though, for the laws to be in place that would allow these ladies to have their wedding.
The two ladies married on May 27, 2012. Nixon wore a pale green custom Carolina Herrera gown and Marinoni a suit with a slightly darker hued green tie. The wedding photo depicts the two standing together on a Big Apple Rooftop with the city skyline in soft focus as a background.
Regarding her sexual orientation, Nixon remarked in 2007: “I don’t really feel I’ve changed. I’d been with men all my life, and I’d never fallen in love with a woman. But when I did, it didn’t seem so strange. I’m just a woman in love with another woman.”
Cynthia and Christine have a son, Max, together, and Nixon has two children from her previous relationship.
