13. Duane “Dog” Chapman

This American bounty hunter and a former bail bondsman maybe hunts bad guys now, but Duane was once a true bad guy himself.

Chapman didn’t actually do the hit himself since he wasn’t the one to pull the trigger, but he was there when his friend shot and killed his drug dealer, an act that earned him a first-degree murder conviction and a five year prison sentence.

He had been waiting in a car when his friend shot and killed a 69-year-old pimp and drug dealer Jerry Oliver in a struggle during a deal to buy cannabis. Chapman served 18 months at Texas State Penitentiary in Huntsville, TX.

While Duane was serving his prison sentence, his first wife LaFonda divorced him and married his best friend.
