The movie “Braveheart” is probably what most consider as the peak of Mel Gibson’s career.

Fearlessly leading an army and defending the freedom of his land and his men, Gibson really dominated the boxoffice with this role.

But his moves as a producer and controversially racist comments on live TV have made Gibson into one of the most well-known weirdos in Hollywood.

One of the most infamous movies he produced was “The Passion of the Christ,” which made headlines across the globe due to being judged by the Vatican for its depiction of the story of Jesus.

After being arrested for a DUI in Malibu, the only thing that Gibson said to the arresting officer was: “F***ing Jews … the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world … are you a Jew?” This forever marked Mel Gibson as one pretty conservative, racist, and angry washed up movie star.
