13. Jean-Claude Van Damme

Seems like action stars really have an affinity towards wasting their careers and Van Damme is just another one of them.

He arrived in the U.S. along with a plethora of foreign action stars, and was immediately named “The Muscles From Brussels.”

Due to his skills in karate and kickboxing and many tournament victories in said sports, JCVD cane to the States with the sole purpose of becoming an action hero.

He succeeded at first, by staring in his ultra-popular debut film “Bloodsport” in 1988, which, of course, revolved around martial arts and kicking some butt.

By the mid-90s, his only notable movie was “Street Fighter: The Movie” in 1944, after which his career began slowing down drastically. Since then, Van Damme hasn’t appeared in anything besides World of Warcraft commercials.
