A shirt isn’t the only thing Matthew McConaughey is known to leave at home during a day of hiking, beaching or filming. The actor has also said that he hasn’t worn deodorant in more than 20 years.

It’s hard to look at rom-com heartthrob Matthew McConaughey the same way after learning that he hasn’t worn deodorant in years.

He admitted to People magazine that he doesn’t “like to smell like someone or something else”.

Back in 2008 his Kate Hudson, his Fool’s Gold co-star, begged him to wear some and even offered him her own. But Matthew refused and told her, “Women love my natural scent. I smell like a man. I smell like me.”
