10. Seal (Cheek Scars)

Some celebrities don’t have to make it by on their looks, instead preferring to make their way behind a microphone.

The “Kiss from a Rose” singer has won the hearts of many with his voice, yet he hasn’t had any trouble in the looks department, despite an obvious flaw.

The musician has some pretty serious scars on his face across both of his cheeks.

At age 23, Seal developed discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE), a rare form of the disease causing scars. According to The Lupus Book, only ten percent of lupus patients have DLE. Thick, scaly lesions appear on these patients’ skin, especially skin that is exposed to sunlight. If untreated, the lesions can turn cancerous.

But Seal has been around for a while, and despite his recent divorce from Heidi Klum, we don’t think he will have any trouble finding another fish in the sea.
