6. Clark Gable

On case you don’t know the guy, Clark Gable was one of the most badass actors of early Hollywood. He was often referred to as “The King of Hollywood” or just simply as “The King“, need we say more?

However, Gable’s rich prosperous career and cultural legacy has a bit of a stain on it. The thing is that the late star had an illegitimate daughter in the early 30s, so he decided to give her up for adoption.

Gable and actress Loretta Young had a fling back in 1934, but according to Loretta, their encounter wasn’t exactly consensual, to make matters even worse. Their unplanned baby was given to an orphanage for adoption. Judy’s mother then retrieved and adopted the child herself.

Gable and Judy met only once after that.
