With a face and body like that, it’s no wonder that Cameron Diaz dropped out of high school in order to be a model.

A student of Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California, Diaz was only 16 when she called it quits and left school to model with Elite Modeling Management.

As she became pretty good at modeling, she got acquainted with a lot of people, and those connections were her ticket to acting stardom.

At the age of 22, Diaz got her first big role in 1994’s The Mask, alongside Jim Carrey (another High school dropout). The actress said on many occasions that she never regretted her decision and that education is an important thing, “just not for her.”
