10. Drew Barrymore

As an actress for almost all of her life, famed Hollywood A-lister Drew Barrymore found it very difficult to get on with her education.

The talented Barrymore had been appearing on big screens since the age of 3, and she barely finished her primary education due to spending a lot of time on-set.

Her huge break came when she was cast as Gertie in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial at the age of 7, and as a lot of young child stars, she soon fell into a pretty troubling state of mind.

She checked into rehab at the age of 13, after having a series of alcohol and drug problems, and she continued doing what she loved – acting. She never finished her education, and the topic is not something she talks about often (and who can blame her).
