Actor Verne Troyer was hospitalized on Saturday for precautionary measures, but all tests came back normal and the actor then left shortly after that. While everyone worried, the 46-year-old’s representatives gave out a statement which said that everything is under control.
Troyer suffered a seizure on the same day he was hospitalized.
The actor himself declined to mention the specific nature of his health scare. However, he did share a word or two to his fans, telling them not to worry.
The Austin Powers actor tweeted: “Everything’s ok guys. Thanks for the concern.” And he didn’t stop there. Shortly after the tweet, the Troyer shared a video in which he said: “Hey everyone, this is Verne. I’m sure you guys have heard some news that I went to the hospital, but I just want to reassure you and let everybody know that I’m doing fine. I was there for maybe a couple of hours, did some tests, and now I’m here the hotel…Thank you again.”
The 2-foot-8 Hollywood star never let his small stature stand in the way of his goals and dreams. During an interview, he said: “I never looked at my size as a handicap. I felt like I fit in at school – I was even elected Homecoming King. I don’t know what it’s like to be tall, so this is normal for me. It’s you guys who are abnormal.”
